Mercy: Let us not forget what God has done for us. His mercy is new every morning. (Lamentations 2:22-23) It flows from the veins of Jesus, our Lord, and washes us white as snow.
His grace has been given to each of us. We have not earned His favor. ( Ephesians 2:8-9) It is given freely to those who put their faith and trust in Him as their Savior.
Forgiven, redeemed, and retore are we by His love, mercy, and grace. We are taken into His household and given abundant life in Him. (Ephesians 1:3-14)
Yet toward others, we harbor bitterness and revenge in our hearts. We do not extend to them the mercy God has given to us. (Ephesians 4:31)
Come today and wash at the cross. Let forgiveness flow over you. Then forgive the others who have wronged you as Christ has forgiven us. (Colossians 3:13)
Show others the mercy that Jesus has shown you. Let His love flow out of you. In doing so, His light will shine out of you.
Worship and bow down before our Lord and Savior. For in love, mercy, and grace, Jesus came to save us from our sins. The Scriptures tell us in Psalm 103:8 that ”The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love” Let us forgive as we have been forgiven. Mercy from Jesus will flow from us to others.
How have you shown mercy to someone today?
