Lesson 30: Testimony

Hello friend, welcome to your final lesson in the A United Front course.
In this lesson, you'll have an opportunity to share how God has worked in your heart and life during these past thirty lessons.
I have shared my experiences with you throughout this course, but here are some of the changes I experienced by God's grace after learning to live united with my husband in the shadow of the cross.
God has brought me into joyful intimacy with Jesus. Having fellowshipped with Christ in His sufferings, I enjoy a more intimate relationship with Him now (Philippians 3:10).
My husband and I have much joy in intimacy and being in union with Jesus Christ together. Christ has defeated the impurity that once threatened to destroy our marriage. We now share a close union walking by the Holy Spirit. "A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Ecclesiastes 4:12
I've been set free from sinful anger, pride, and bitterness. The "wood" of the cross was thrown right into the bitter waters of my heart. The cross of Jesus humbled me and absorbed all my sin and bitterness (Exodus 15:22-24). Because Jesus loved me through His cross, my bitterness and anger are gone and replaced with love for Christ and my husband.
God has made me passionate about other people's freedom and healing. I long to see others kneel at the foot of the cross and become awestruck at what Jesus did for them through His death and resurrection. I long to see the spiritual power of the Holy Spirit flow into them as they come to the Rock that was struck and drink from Him (1 Corinthians 10:4).
I still sin and stumble in many ways, but united together with Christ and my husband "I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:14).
