Lesson 7: Redemption by Blood

Questions 4, 5, 6, and 7

The law pointed forward to and finds its fulfillment in Jesus Christ, the Lamb slain to redeem us from sin. Jesus Christ came to this earth and died on the cross, thereby redeeming us from sin, from an empty life, and our futile ways, by His blood.
“knowing that you were redeemed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.” 1 Peter 1:18-19
But what is the need for our redemption today? Why must we be redeemed, and from what do we need to be redeemed? Please study the following Scriptures and write down what "need" for redemption is listed in each one:
“Say therefore to the people of Israel, 'I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from slavery to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment.” Exodus 6:6
