Testimony and Question 8
Rhea writes, "My faith in Christ has grown so much while taking the Freedom from Substance Abuse course. I took this course to quit drinking alcohol completely; however, in the process, I quit smoking as well (bonus freedom). I'm happier now. I've also been sharing this course with others. It's helped me tremendously, and I'm truly grateful.
First, my heart changed. I finally let Christ in after eight years of being a believer. My thinking has changed, as I no longer call myself an addict. I feel free. God has set me free. I pray daily and give him praise. He has changed many things in my life that I wouldn't have been able to do on my own. And I didn't want to do it on my own any longer. I used the tools in the course and would read the Bible. I stopped drinking and smoking and now feel healthier and happier. And now I'm sharing with others how I've achieved my sobriety and happiness. This was really a God send to me. Thank you!!"
