When I started this plan, my heart was the hardest it had ever been. I was ready to go back to living for myself, and I couldn't care less, but God intervened through this study. Setting Captives Free mentors are not available to students under the age of 16. We encourage minor students to involve their parents, pastor, or other church leaders in their studies.

Michelle writes, "The Freedom from Substance Abuse course was transformative. I’ve learned how to apply Biblical principles to walk in freedom from alcohol. Previously, I tried to will myself to stop abusing alcohol, but it didn't work. I’ve also tried to justify my use of alcohol as a social thing that I do, but the Holy Spirit convicted me of those excuses. Studying through this course helped me to repent and recommit my life and ways to Christ.

This course is very powerful, and I recommend it. I think Mike has a gift of sharing such powerful biblical-based truths that set captives free by pointing them to the power of the cross and helping students learn to apply the gospel to their lives.
