Lesson 20 Rescued to Become Adopted Into God’s Family

Questions 1 and 2

Hello friend, welcome back to your course. Let’s get started on our study for today.
If Jesus sets you free from media addiction, so that you begin to use it properly and enjoy it in good ways, then the Bible says you have been rescued. Being addicted to media is a trap of the devil, and you would have stayed in that trap probably for a long time had Jesus not come and powerfully rescued you from it.
Jesus rescues people from traps of all kinds. There is no trap too powerful for Christ to breech. He is the invincible rescuer. Notice this passage:
Colossians 1:11-14 NIV  being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience,  (12)  and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.  (13)  For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves,  (14)  in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Now that’s a lot of power! God has power for you if you are a believer. And He uses that power to strengthen you so that you might be able to endure in your faith, and so you can press on and keep going.

God wants you to keep hearing the gospel message and keep believing it all your life.
