Question 5. Please explain what it feels like to see Jesus taking your sins on Himself and removing them far from you forever.
I really don't want to express my answer in the context of feelings; so, please excuse me from that. But I will say that I have no context in my past, no frame of reference, no history or foundation that prepares me to truly respond to the love that is expressed by someone who would rescue me from wrath of that magnitude and intensity, knowing that I deserved ALL of it, and He...deserved NONE of it. I still occasionally find that I am stunned and unable to move, not even knowing how to respond, as I think about the POWER of my sin even being removed--and, to a great degree, a free taste of the PRESENCE of my sin also being removed from me.
I think about the free tastes of ice cream we used to get at the ice cream parlor, where they would hand a small spoon (wooden, in those days) across the counter, with a sample of what you were thinking about purchasing. When the eyes would light up upon tasting the flavor, one could easily say, "That's nothing; wait until you get the whole thing!"

I like your illustration of the “free taste” of ice cream. It is true; there is so much more coming. We have eternity to marvel and praise the Lord for what He has done for us at the Cross.
