Lesson 3: Jesus Heals Broken Hearts
Questions 6, 7 and 8
Today we saw that Jesus came to mend broken hearts. If you answered “yes” to the above question, I believe you’ll see how this is actually accomplished and begin to experience this heart-healing that Jesus came to do, as you continue on in the course.
For now, may I encourage you to watch the following video, and in response to the gospel message you heard today, offer your own heart to God? He says to us, “My son, give me your heart...” (Proverbs 23:26).
Question 6. Did you watch the video? If so, did you respond to the gospel by offering your heart (depressed and downcast though it may be) to the Lord? Please share any thoughts here:

Bill writes: “This song is a wonderful time of worship. To be reminded that I need to give my heart to the Lord daily, asking Him to speak what is true. Remembering that God’s love is so much greater than the pain of my heart. He is able to comfort and bring a healing balm for my heart. Even now, when I do become discouraged, it is when I turn to Him and give Him back my heart, that I find a peace and calm in the midst of the storm and darkness. Those things on the “outside” might not change, but I have a peace and calm on the “inside” that shows me that I am loved by God. I remind myself that there on the cross, Jesus loved me and that balm of the heart is His blood shed for me. Even me. May the Lord get all the glory. Even as I write this I continue to listen to praise and worship music.“
Harris writes, "Yes, I am offering to God a heart that is broken depressed, and I am asking Him to fix it through the cross."
Raph writes, "Here’s my heart Lord...speak truth to it. I am yours, and I am found by You. I am loved, I want to be healed"
