Day 13. Third Principle of Freedom
Question 1
In the previous weeks, we learned the absolute necessity of Washing at the cross, for without it, we remain in guilt, which drags us into wrong behavior.
Then we learned the second principle of freedom, which is “Walking by the Spirit.” If we walk by the Spirit, we don’t gratify the lusts of our flesh (Galatians 5:16).
Today, we'll discuss our third powerful principle called "Warring against the flesh," which can destroy the enemy's work in your life and bring freedom. However, to succeed in this battle, we must first understand the importance of two other principles: "Washing at the cross" and "Walking by the Spirit."
Without these foundational principles, warring against the flesh is destined to fail. We can fight against our enemies, but without spiritual power, we will be defeated. As Martin Luther said, without the right man on our side, our efforts would be in vain. Jesus, the right Man, fought for us and won the victory through His death and resurrection. He is on our side! Because of Jesus, we can be victorious in our struggles.
When I was in bondage to various vices, even as a professing Christian, I felt weak and powerless to fight back. The enemy attacked my mind, and I gave in to gratifying my flesh. Can you relate to this battle?
Question 1. What has your experience in this battle been like? Please share.

God didn't leave me defeated on the battlefield; He taught me how to fight. I'm here to share the lessons I've learned with you.
As Christians, we are called to be soldiers, equipped with armor to combat our own sinful desires (Ephesians 6:10-18). It's time for us to learn how to fight!
