Lesson 10: Jesus Became Poor to Make Us Rich

Question 1

Marco Polo of Mike’s teaching: Monday 8th March 2021
“All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I had been eager to do all along.” Galatians 2:10 NIV
“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake, he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.” 2 Corinthians 8:9 NIV
From the teaching today:
“We have literally gone from rags to riches and now would we dare to shut our hearts and our hands to the poor after we were poor and we were made so rich? We dare not do so. Why? Because it would destroy the picture of the gospel. Jesus became poor to make us rich.”
