Lesson 7: Jesus was Condemned for Our Freedom

Question 1

Marco Polo of Mike’s teaching: Monday 15th February 2021
“For you have heard of my previous way of life in Judaism, how intensely I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it. 14 I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my own age among my people and was extremely zealous for the traditions of my fathers. 15 But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, was pleased 16 to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles,” Galatians 1:13-16 NIV
From the teaching today:
“Many of us here today can say: “I was running that way as fast as I could go. I was destroying my life. I was ensnared in food and alcohol, in drugs, in pornography and sexual impurity, destroying my life and many people around me, living a life of deception and bondage. And one day, I saw a man hanging in agony and shame like some Haman, hanging on a pole impaled under the king’s wrath. But I came to understand that He was hanging for my forgiveness. He was hanging under God’s judgment that you and I might stand in the judgment. He was condemned so I might go free.”
