Lesson 24 No Condemnation for Those in Christ
Questions 5 and 6
Now let’s move on to verse 3:
Romans 8:3 NLT The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins.
For this verse, the Treasury of Scriptural Knowledge provides the following passages:
Romans 3:20, Romans 7:5-11; Acts 13:39; Galatians 3:21; Hebrews 7:18-19, Hebrews 10:1-10, Hebrews 10:14
Question 5. Pick a couple of the above verses and tell how they expound on the concepts of Romans 8:3.

Well, that will do it for our study today, but you can keep going in your study of Romans chapter 8 if you like. What I wanted you to see is that there is a way to study the Bible that can be very enjoyable. It can be thrilling, captivating and even addicting.
You can spend hours and hours studying this way and if you do, it will warm your heart and fill it with love for Jesus, it will capture your mind with fresh images, word-pictures that will stay with you for a long time. And especially, it can entirely replace your previous addiction to media with something that will continue to change your life on a daily basis for the good.
Question 6. If God leads you to study in the way I’ve shown you today, what effect do you think it would have on any struggles with media addiction? Please share your thoughts:

Charlene writes, "I think the effect will be and has been life transforming. The struggle would be non existent! To discover true gems of the vast power of the Cross in each page of scripture and to sit at the feet of Jesus, everything else and the temporary high I would get from media would and does dull in comparison. Studying God's word fills your heart in a way that keeps you satisfied and not wanting the temporary pleasure of media."
In the next lesson, we will learn about another aspect of Christ that can truly warm our hearts with love and fill our lives with joy. Like the above way of studying the Bible, this, too, can become very addicting! See you then.
