Questions 1 and 2
Greetings friend, so glad to see you back today! Let’s get going!
Have you ever felt like you were being overwhelmed by media addiction? Like it was a great big ocean and you were just sinking down into it?
Some people describe it saying that they get on their favorite media as soon as they wake up and never leave it, not even to shower or eat. Maybe they don’t get out of their beds all day, choosing to be on media the entire time. They live in a virtual world while their real lives are slipping away from them.
Question 1. Have you ever been like this? Like media was a big chaotic ocean pulling you down, you feel like you’re drowning and it’s got you thinking you might not ever surface again? Please share your thoughts and experience with media addiction here:

Today we want to examine a story in the Bible that shows us both the power of Jesus Christ to raise us out of media addiction, and also the power of faith. Please read the following:
Matthew 14:25-31 NIV Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. (26) When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. "It's a ghost," they said, and cried out in fear. (27) But Jesus immediately said to them: "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid." (28) "Lord, if it's you," Peter replied, "tell me to come to you on the water." (29) "Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. (30) But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!" (31) Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith," he said, "why did you doubt?"
Question 2. What could Peter do as long as he was looking at Jesus?
