Romans 6:22 ESV But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life.
Romans 6:23 ESV For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I’m praying, “Oh Lord, the wages of sin is death, and Jesus received the wages of my sin when He was on the cross. I see Him dying there, taking the sin of all humanity on Himself, suffering the penalty of all my wrongdoing. But as I see Him dying there, I know that you are giving me a free gift. Jesus took my sin; I get His righteousness. Jesus took my death; I receive His eternal life. While this is free to me, I see that it cost Jesus dearly. Thank you for this gift, Lord!”

Question 11. Have these lessons been making sense to you? Are you beginning to see there is hope in finding victory over these sins? Does coming to the Cross make sense? Let your mentor know of your struggles and concerns. Ask questions about what is unclear. Your mentor has had similar struggles and has found growing victory as they continue to come to the Cross and use the Scriptures for guidance. They want to share and pray with and for you. Let them know.
