As we consider our brokenness and the humility that comes from our sin being exposed, we find that there really is hope.  The Lord uses that brokenness to expose my inability to “fix” myself. No matter how hard I try, I can’t fix it. BUT, the Lord can.  The more I keep my focus on Jesus and what He accomplished for me at the Cross, my hope grows.  I am able to see that I can be free from this sin and that the resurrection is proof that it will be so.  The same power that raised Jesus from that grave, is the same power that will strengthen us to walk as new creatures in Christ.
