Lesson 21 Warring Against our Flesh, Praying God’s Word

Greetings friend, welcome back.
In the last lesson, we understood the need for persistent prayer, boldness in coming to God and asking for freedom, and not taking no for an answer.
But today will learn that not just any kind of praying will do. For example, we could wrestle with God pleading for a million dollars, but it is unlikely that God would give it to us because a million dollars may not be something we truly need. "When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures" (James 4:3).
In this lesson, I will share what God has taught me about praying, according to His will. What this amounts to is latching on to God's own words and praying them back to Him.
“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.” John 15:7-8 (NIV)
