Friend, as you look at the cross what you see is that Jesus has ransomed you from sin and death, rescued you from the power of darkness, redeemed you from the curse of the Law, redeemed you from an empty way of life, and reconciled you to God the Father. It is a sight to behold, and one that brings hope and freedom to our hearts.
Consider all that Christ endured securing your freedom. Will you believe and embrace all these things that Jesus has done for you and live in light of this truth? Let the sight of the crucified/resurrected Christ fill you with love, and supply you with Holy Spirit power to embark on a seek and destroy sin mission. Let it give holy power, fiery passion for putting everything to death in your life that put Jesus to death in His.
