After confessing to me, my husband also confessed to a pastor friend, who suggested my husband do the Purity Boot Camp course at Setting Captives Free, which he started almost immediately. The incredibly special thing for me about the A United Front course was that it cemented the truth about who I was and am and how dependent I am on Jesus’ work at the cross. At the cross, I saw and felt my sin, but I also saw and felt ABSOLUTE CLEANSING, FREEDOM, and HEALING! THE POWER IS ONLY IN THE CROSS OF CHRIST!!! This is BEAUTIFULLY pointed out again and again throughout the lessons, and this is where the power is!
The A United Front course helped me tremendously with intimacy in my marriage in that, for the first time, I could see the spiritual aspect of Jesus being the bridegroom and the church, me, His bride. The reality that Jesus makes me flawless, absolutely perfect, and beautiful was BREATHTAKING! The realization that He makes me HIS bride just leaves me in awe! I am struck by God’s abounding love to a rotten sinner like me! I came to realize and understand the POWER of the CROSS for the first time through this whole experience, even though I have been a Christian for many years!
Each time Satan came to put lies in my head along the way, I went (and still need) to go to the cross where those lies would and will always simply melt away! One CANNOT come to the cross and continue to hold onto wrong thoughts about one's husband, one's own self-image, one's pride, etc.
I 110% recommend this course to every single person (husband, wife, fiancé, etc.)."
Kate writes, "The A United Front course really put me on the path to healing by teaching me humility and compassion. I struggled with thinking I was the better spouse for not committing the sin of impurity, but Jesus is just as grieved by my sin.
This course opened my eyes to Jesus' sacrifice for my spouse and me and made it real again for me. My love for Him is rekindled, and I have a better understanding of who God is, what Jesus did, and what my life's struggles are all about.
