Lesson 2 - Love

Question 4

This love of God conveys His will to His children concerning their attitude toward other Christians and toward all men.

Love should be a part of the fruit of the Spirit in the Christian’s life. Galatians 5:22.
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. (35) "By this, all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13:34-35 NKJV)
"And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you" (1 Thessalonians 3:12 NKJV)
"This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. (13) "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends." (John 15:12-13 NKJV)
We measure our love by looking at the Cross – do I love like that?
"Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; (5) does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; (6) does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; (7) bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails" (1 Corinthians 13:4-8 NKJV)
