"Now, which of them will love him more?"
Friend, the more we are forgiven, the more love will be flowing from our hearts. Why? Because we see the mountain of sin and debt we owed to God but could not pay. Then we see Jesus stepping in and paying a debt He did not owe. We see Him walking up the mountain where He crushed our mountain of sin in His flesh on that cross! We owe our very lives to Him because our mountain of sin was reduced to nothing. We know it should have been us on that cross, paying our debt, but not one of us had the means by which to pay what was owed.
Notice that one owed "five hundred denari," and the other only owed "fifty." It didn't matter the size of the debt, both were extended forgiveness, and their debts were canceled just as Jesus' death was enough to cleanse and forgive even the largest of sin debts. No one can "sin too much," or "out sin" God's grace because God's grace in Jesus Christ is far greater!
"The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more," Romans 5:20 (NIV)
Do you see it, friend, "Where sin increased," God's "grace increased ALL THE MORE."
Question 3: How grateful are you in seeing your mountain of sin "wiped out" and "canceled" on Calvary's hill where Jesus put ALL your sin, sinful past, and future sins to death in His flesh?

"Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. 45 You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. 46 You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. 47 Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little." 48 Then Jesus said to her, "Your sins are forgiven." Luke 7:44-48 (NIV)
Friend, do you see the focus of this woman? She's not looking at herself and all the sins she's committed, but at her Savior, weeping at His feet, seeing and sensing the love and forgiveness to her personally and she was deeply affected by it. Why? Because ALL HER SINS have been forgiven! She's not finding her identity in her sins, but in her Savior who forgave ALL her sin debt. Whether it was "five hundred denarii" or "five million denarii" worth of sin her heart was free and filled with love as she was being loved by Jesus. The fact that she is "loving much" is a result of her seeing and knowing how much she's been loved and forgiven by Jesus.
Question 4: Can you see how much you’ve been loved and forgiven? That neither you or this woman could not “out sin” the grace of God, as the blood of Jesus increased (flowed) all the more? Please share your thoughts.
