When we consider humility, we have to look at Jesus to see how we are to be humble. As we consider how Jesus, who in humility, came down from all the glory of heaven, came to earth as a lowly man of no reputation, and then lowered Himself to death, on a cross and to be buried in a borrowed tomb. We are to clothe ourselves with that same type of humility. It is not about you or me, it is about having that attitude of “not my will, but Yours be done,” through our lives.  When Jesus rose from the dead, we are raised with Him.  But to be raised up out of our depression and dark cloud of bondage, it is through the path of humility.
