Joce's Story

Cristy writes, "As she was editing the Setting Captives Free lessons God showed her that she didn't need to be fearful and that He loved her and He died for her and this truth softened her heart and showed her a new way to be. Joce is a new person and as long as she keeps her eyes on the Lord and the Cross, fear has no room in her heart!"

Christopher writes, "She was set free by reading the Bible and spending time with God by going for long walks and listening to sermons, she would walk until the sermon was done. Joce discovered the love of Christ when she pondered on the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus. He died for all of our sins, Jesus was beaten, he was whipped, he had a crown of thorns thrust in his scalp, his hands and feet were nailed to the wood, they pierced his side with a spear, they cast lots for his clothes, they sent him insults while being crucified. All this was done to save us from sin and to overcome the power of death and Satan. Joce experienced the freedom of the cross, the freedom of fear and the freedom of worldly wisdom, Today the Word of God is where Joce gets her Wisdom!"
