This is a wonderful lesson to explain why being in bondage to sexual sins is God’s way to offer us His grace and mercy. The nation of Israel became disobedient to God, which culminated in the crucifixion of Jesus, and so through their very disobedience salvation has come to both Jew and Gentile. God used the disobedience of Israel to give grace to the Gentiles, through Jesus’ death on the cross.

Isn’t it amazing to consider that the nation of Israel became disobedient so that they also may now receive mercy? Through their disobedience of crucifying their Messiah, they are given the gift of salvation. How utterly amazing! 

Now here comes something even more amazing. Paul goes from the specific to the general.
